This is one of our many SAQCC-Fire Accredited training courses for individuals interested in registering as a Fire Detection and Alarm System Commissioner.

The pre-requisite for the course is Fire Detection and Alarm System Principles.

This course runs over 3 days - the first two days we discuss the SANS 10139 Code of Practice in some detail, and on the 3rd day wrap the course up with a further discussion of the SANS 10139 Standard with particular emphasis on the Commissioning and Servicing requirements.

In class activities

A final course module has been added where we discuss Understanding Fire Detection for Hospitals referencing in particular SANS 322 as a Commissioner / Serviceman. A revision session then ensues where we revise certain problematic areas that may occur. This is followed by the final summative assessment - the examination based on the modules completed on the previous days. Please refer to the details below for further information:
